Most people know me from my best friend StarMasayume's art contests. I'm the dark one. I am her opposite and yet for all our outward differences, we are the same. I like blood, blades, spiders, snakes, bats, scaring people.... and she, well, doesn't. I can't stand the sun or bright light or mornings. Some people say that's vampiric of me, but I can't help that my eyes are sensitive to light, my skin is overly sensitive to the sun and I am a night owl. I tend to be a living contradiction. I hate people and crowds, but when in charge of something or at a job, I am very diplomatic and customer service oriented. I don't like cutesy, girly things and yet I'm good at doing others' hair,makeup, and coordinating their clothes. (Which I end up doing for Star whenever she wants to go shopping.)


Now, how are we the same? We both love to read and write. We are perfectly happy saying nothing to each other for hours while one reads and the other draws or writes. We'll watch classic Disney movies, chick flicks and almost any genre of anime. For some reason, I have a weakness for romantic/comedies, though I prefer it when they're a bit angsty. We love music and can't help singing along to EVERYTHING we know. We both play the piano and sing while we do it. Our creativeness seems to be intertwined with each other. One little word or tiny suggestion from her gives me an entire full-blown creative masterpiece in minutes. (Even when I try to resist.) She gets stuck on something, I pull her out and give her more to work with. We're two sides of the same coin. So that's me. Us. Because honestly, without her I'd still be the reclusive, self-hating, friendless bitch I was. She is the starlight that adds variety to my moonlit night.
